PART-TIME HOTEL SALES AND CATERING CALLER (Work from Home Job)

Hospitality Softnet is a national hotel training firm, with 24 years of experience, seeking “part-time” Callers for Hotel Sales & Catering departments.

The key requirements for the role:

HOTEL SALES OR HOTEL CATERING SALES background & familiarity with the SALES PROCESS

  • Background & familiarity with the hotel sales process
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable; able to meet daily and weekly deadlines and respond to all calls and messages within 24 hours
  • Able to adhere to and maintain high quality and professional standards, verbally and written
  • Exceptional writing and proofing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of computers (MS Word, Windows and Email)
  • Home office with a quiet work environment
  • Office set up to include Windows-based computer with MS Word, internet access and telephone for outgoing calls only. (Can use a cell or land line).
  • Regular and reliable daily access to internet and email
  • Bi-Lingual in English/Spanish is a plus!

The process involves contacting Hotel Sales and Hotel Catering Sales managers from a home office via telephone, generating documents to forward on to Report Writers who will evaluate the manager’s selling skills. All work is submitted via email.

We supply initial training and ongoing resources to ensure success.

Callers work on a part-time, but consistent year-round basis, while still allowing flexibility with their schedule –allowing them to continue to use their industry skills!

PART-TIME QUALITY ASSURANCE REPORT WRITER (Work from Home Job)

We are a NATIONAL hotel training firm, with over 20 years of experience, seeking a “part-time” Report Writer to prepare Mystery Hotel Sales & Catering Test Reports.

The key requirements for this role are:

– Sales background preferred (hotel or catering/meetings or travel industry background is a plus)

– Exceptional writing and proofing skills

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational/administrative abilities

– Reliable; able to meet daily and weekly deadlines

– Able to adhere to and maintain high quality and professional written standards

– Familiarity with computers (MS Word, Windows, and Email)

– Home office to include computer with internet access

– Available to communicate daily with our office either by phone or email

– Windows-based PC. Regular and reliable daily access to email

– Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus! (We also work with hotels in Spanish-speaking areas.)

The work involves preparing Hotel Sales and Hotel Catering Sales Mystery Shop reports from a recording that critiques the manager’s selling skills. Reports are submitted via email, and can be done any time of day, as long as submitted by deadline. It can be done from a home office anywhere in the United States.  We supply initial training and ongoing resources to ensure success.

Report Writers work on a part-time, but consistent year-round basis, while still allowing flexibility with their schedule and can set their own preferred volume of work once initial training has been completed.

PART-TIME TELEPROSPECTORS (Work from Home Job)

We currently have part-time openings in our Teleprospecting Department.

  • Teleprospectors contact businesses on behalf of hotels to inquire about guest room and meeting room needs.
  • The information is recorded on a software program that we provide and the leads are sent to the hotels for follow-up.
  • Teleprospectors need to feel comfortable with “cold calls,” be skilled at getting through the gatekeeper and have access to a quiet home office environment for blocks of time during weekday business hours.
  • A hotel sales background is preferred
  • Office set up to include Windows-based computer, high speed internet access and telephone. (Can use a cell or land line).
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is a PLUS!
